Esperanza En Escalante NewsOctober 2007 - EEE hosts the Annual Veterans Ball at the Stillwell house. EEE hosted a successful fundraiser at the Stillwell house with entertainment provided by 56 Deluxe, BBQ Jones, and Sarge Liticum. Numerous door prizes were awarded, a silent auction held, and raffles. EEE thanks all those who contributed! November 2007- EEE elects new officers and revises the EEE by-laws and code of ethics. January 2008 - Betty Slaybuagh steps down as Executive Director and hands the reigns to Phyllis Russell. Betty has been the driving force for EEE since it's inception and has contributed immeasurably to the success of EEE. Fortunately Betty will stay on in an advisory capacity. Phyllis has been with EEE for several years and has made a smooth transition. All programs and initiatives are being carried forward at full speed. Congratulations to Phyllis and our sincerest thanks to Betty for her untiring effort, dedication, and successes she has had with making EEE what it is today. Upcoming Events June 6, 2008 - Golf Tournament to Support EEE. July 1, 2008 - EEE will have its annual board meeting. Following the meeting there will be an awards ceremony for the special contributors to EEE. There will also be a presentation of the Order of the Silver Rose. November 15, 2008 will have its annual fund raiser. Details to follow!
